Commercial Umbrella Insurance

If your company were to be sued, would your business be able to recover? No one wants or expects accidents to happen but they do. Without adequate coverage, one claim could devastate your business.

Umbrella liability insurance protects you when accidents happen and your existing liability insurance policies cannot cover all the expenses. Standard business liability coverage will cover many instances but when serious situations arise, commercial umbrella insurance will help ensure that your business is FULLY protected.

A commercial umbrella policy picks up where your business auto liability, general liability or other liability coverage stops. Umbrella insurance is an inexpensive way to provide extra coverage against bodily injury and/or property damage.

What is your company’s security and peace of mind worth?

Consistent, Timely & Accurate Advice - We have had the pleasure of dealing with Young Kim at McLean Insurance Agency on the various type of insurance that our construction business requires. The different limits and the heavy requirements for certificates including those forms and wordings have always kept owners of construction companies awake however with Young, I never had to worry about any of those requirements.

Also, his aggressiveness to find the right policies has helped me stay insured even after different unfortunate claims hurting my experience modification. We have always had professional and personal attention by Young and members of his team. But perhaps just as important, members of McLean Insurance Agency have consistently provided advice and counsel that was accurate and timely. Any individuals who we have been referred to the agency have responded to us with positive feedback and thanks.

FAQ

What is Commercial Umbrella Insurance?

A policy designed to provide protection against catastrophic losses. It generally is written over various primary liability policies, such as the business auto policy (BAP), commercial general liability (CGL) policy, watercraft and aircraft liability policies, and employers liability coverage.

How Does Umbrella Coverage work?

An umbrella policy only pays once your basic liability limits have been exhausted or the claim is excluded from the basic liability coverage. The claim will be made against you (the policyholder) on behalf of the wronged party. Then your insurance company may pay the settlement amount up to the limits of your coverage.
